Teacher Training Testimonials
Could not have had a better experience for my 200 hr YTT with Brittany and Jamie! What originally drew me in was the schedule and flexibility of the program. I loved the month-long program which allows you to fully immerse yourself but also loved the flexibility, allowing you participate online or make up hours on your own time. I was hesitant at first to sign up, thinking “am I ready to become a yoga instructor” and now that the experience is over, I’m so happy I took the leap! Brittany and Jamie are both so knowledgeable and help break everything down in a way that’s easy to understand. The overall experience was everything I could have hoped for and more. It was a life changing learning experience for personal growth and now I feel like I have the confidence to start teaching on my own! So grateful for Hamsa Power Yoga as this studio truly does feel like hOMe!

I completed the first Hamsa 200 hour YTT. I decided to join based on how amazing Jamie and Brittany were as teachers and also as people. Both of them have such a deep history with yoga helping to create this immense knowledge base they have. I ended up making friends that I will surely remain close with. Most importantly I was able to work through so much in depth information with a roomful of likeminded people. The conversations were rich and enlightening. The anatomy and cueing lessons we had were super thorough. I feel like I know more about myself than I’ve ever known. I walked away from the training ready to teach right out the door. It was such a circular program allowing for the time needed to digest info and return to it again in a different format. Even if you aren’t sure if you want to teach this would be an epic way to discover more about your own practice.

If you are considering YTT now is the time and these are your teachers! I couldn’t have imagined two better humans to lead us through this heart and mind expanding journey. To be part of such an incredible and diverse group of people, and having made lifelong friends, Hamsa provided the keys to an incredible yoga journey. Brittany and Jaime, having such deep love and knowledge of yoga, presented us the tools to discover just how capable we are! Can you imagine being reintroduced to yourself?!

I recently moved from Virginia Beach to Jupiter Florida and desperately was trying to find my “yoga home“. After the fifth attempt with other studios, I came across Hamsa Yoga and knew the minute I stepped in that it was home. Their 200-hour teacher training changed my life and knew almost instantly that Jamie and Brittany were part of my soul family. I learned so much about yoga, of course, but even more about myself through their love, wisdom, and support. It was the best decision of my life!

If you have ever considered taking the 200 hour yoga teacher training, I highly recommend taking it at Hamsa. I was lucky enough to participate in the first Hamsa training with Jamie and Brittany and it was a priceless experience. To be part of something while becoming more in-tune with yourself is true medicine for the soul. I did not take the training to teach, but rather to deepen my physical practice and develop a deeper understanding of the entire philosophy. I ended up learning so much about myself, the practice, the postures and the actual art of teaching. In the process I met amazing people that have become true friends. Jamie and Brittany are gifted teachers and inspirational guides.

It is difficult to sum up the magical learning experience I received at Hamsa Power Yoga. Brittany & Jamie cultivated a warm, enriching environment that flooded my soul with love, acceptance, & community. In the 4 short weeks of training Hamsa became home, strangers became best friends, & lessons widened my awareness both internally & externally. Brittany & Jamie are like Yin & Yang!! Two complementary forces that dynamically interact to form a harmonious balance. From Jamie’s passion of anatomy & body awareness and Brittany’s love of Sanskrit & ancient yogic history, together they creatively weave philosophy & wisdom with personal insights in an accessible way of understanding. The program is so much more than receiving a 200hr YTT certificate. It is a path back to the Self. It’s full effect is still unfolding & I am grateful for their continuous guidance & support along the way.
